RJ Cycling Camps has been managed by Rachel and James for the past seven seasons. We provide cycling experiences for groups, individuals and teams.  We use 4* and 5* hotels for all of our accommodation to ensure you have a very comfortable stay.

We are based in the Calpe area, on the east coast of Spain; the warmest and driest area of this beautiful sun drenched country.  The area benefits from over 325 days of sunshine, very little rainfall and winter temperatures averaging 18’C. Coupled with amazing scenery and quiet roads, this makes for perfect conditions to ride and train in. The terrain in this stunning area offers flat, hilly and mountainous routes which allows you to make the rides as relaxed or as challenging as you like. 

Over half of the World Tour Professional teams use this area for their winter training before the start of the cycling season, so why not treat yourself to the same luxury.

Previously, we have run fully guided and vehicle supported camps and holidays.  However, in November 2019, we opened a new cycling café and shop called Musette, based in the village of Alcalali.  Since opening, we have had the pleasure of meeting many of the professional riders and teams who come regularly for our organic roasted coffee and homemade cakes, along with so many other cyclists enjoying their riding.

So, although we cannot offer our fully supported camps now, below are our Camp options for the forthcoming 2024 season; have a look to see which suits you best…..

SELF-GUIDED

If you would like to explore the Marina Alta area at your own pace, you can book a self-guided holiday as a group or by yourself individually.  We offer the choice to stay in the 4* Diamante Beach Hotel in Calpe or the 5* Marriott La Sella Golf Hotel near Denia.  The accommodation includes breakfast and evening meal (Half Board).  You will also be given access to our routes for your GPS bike computer.  If required, guides can be provided/booked on a daily basis.

GUIDED GROUP RIDES

If you want to ride with a group then this option is for you.  We have teamed up with one of our local partners who are offering an all inclusive cycling package.  You will stay in a 4* hotel which provides many cycling facilities such as mechanical assistance and repair bench, secure bike storage, heated outdoor swimming pool, washing machine and tumble dryer for cycling kit.

It will include guided cycle routes with a choice of daily led rides to suit different abilities.  Each morning you will be able to choose which group to ride with, advice will be given to help you decide. You can change between groups throughout the week, so if you fancy an easier or harder day you can join the relevant group. 

This is a 7 night package and includes half board, carbon bike hire and airport transfers.  The price starts from 575 euros per person sharing a twin room.
